Wednesday, Jan 13 Emergency Need for Blood Donation

Full Description:

1pm-5:30pm  As a result of the recent bad weather across the country, on the heels of the holiday season, the blood supply has drastically decreased in the Carolinas Region. Type O negative and type B negative blood supplies have dropped to emergency levels and help is needed now! Since type O negative blood can be used for any patient when there is not time to determine the patient’s blood type, it is crucial that there is a sufficient supply.

Give a little bit, and save a lot!!!  The Triangle Sportsplex is hosting its FIRST Blood Drive of the YEAR on Wednesday, January 13 from 3 pm to 7:30 pm.  The Sportsplex is located at 101 Meadowlands Drive in Hillsborough.  You can schedule an appointment by calling 644-0339 or by visiting www.membersforlife.org/cbsr/sc­hedule, sponsor code 13748
