Monday, Feb 8 Agricultural Summit

Full Description:

The 12th Annual Orange County Agricultural Summit will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the future Piedmont Food and Agricultural Processing Center (the former Orange Enterprises building), 500 Valley Forge Road, Hillsborough, just north of the intersection of I-85 (exit 165) and (new) NC Highway 86.

The cost is $5 per person, which includes a full lunch featuring locally grown meats and produce, and light snacks.

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The morning program will run from 8:30 a.m. until noon, followed by lunch. There will be an optional afternoon session from 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Parking is limited. Overflow parking will be available in front of Home Depot, in nearby Hampton Pointe Shopping Center, with shuttle service to the Valley Forge building via Cooperative Extension's 4-H van. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held the following Monday, February 15, 2010.
