Participants will engage in developing character, plot and setting using visual, audio, and personal narrative archives.
This workshop is ideal for the writer seeking to add more dimension to the historical facts of their fiction; to have the characters and settings of the past spring to life. The workshop is also designed for participants who must write in the midst of a busy everyday life.
Participants will engage in a series of exercises to find parallels between societies of the past with familiar societies of the present. As well, participants will explore parallels of their individual daily problems with similar problems of their historical figures. All levels.
