Tuesday, September 14 Learn How to Save Energy in Your Home
Full Description:
You Can Do It! Saving Energy and Money In Your Home
Utility bills are one of the largest expenditures in a family’s budget. Heating, cooling, water heating, cooking, bathing, and lighting are all necessary activities that can take a huge chunk out of your available financial resources. The program, “You Can Do It! Saving Energy and Money In your Home,” will provide homeowners with the strategies to keep these expenses under control by implementing wise use and conservation practices.
The program will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Mark Bashista, owner and lead auditor of Home Performance, Inc. will be available to answer questions and provide technical support during the program. Each program participant will receive a free energy kit. Homeowners who qualify can receive a reduced-cost home energy audit by participating in this program. Audits are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to qualify, your home must be no larger than 2,000 square feet, should have only one HVAC system, and be at least 5 years old. A $100.00 payment is required on the day the audit is performed. Homeowners who request an audit must attend the program in its entirety. If you are interested in a home energy audit, let it be known when you register for the program in order that we may send you the necessary preliminary forms that you will need to have completed prior to the program. The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 14.
