We can't predict the next disaster for Orange County, but we can prepare for it! The Community Emergency Response Team Program (CERT) teaches participants how to provide basic emergency response services after a disaster. Persons living or working in Orange County can form a CERT to meet critical needs in their neighborhood or workplace when first responders are delayed. Starting a CERT requires completion of a 5-week training program taught in or near your community by skilled health and safety professionals.
