Cedar Grove Ruritan Club

Full Description:

Cedar Grove Ruritans purpose is to make our community a better place in which to live and work. The slogan of Ruritan is "Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service." Club membership represents a cross-section of the Cedar Grove community for which the club serves, and is not restrictive with regard to occupation, social position, or any other specific criteria. We currently are a proud sponsor of the Humming Bird 4H Club and we are seeking to help other organizations serving youth. We provide a community meeting place and recreational/athletic facilities for our area. The Cedar Grove Ruritan each year provides $2000 in financial assistance to students to further their education past high school. Ruritan National and its members are dedicated to creating a better understanding among people, and through volunteer community service, make America’s communities a better place to live and work. Ruritan members across the country represent a cross-section of the communities they serve. Our monthly meeting is the first Thursday of each month.
